This shows the urogenital system in a male embryo. The kidney and ureters appear in yellow, the Wolffian ducts in cyan and the Müllerian ducts in magenta. In males, the pair of Müllerian ducts will regress under the influence of the anti-Müllerian hormone. The Wolffian ducts will give rise to the epididymis and vas deferens.
