Despite its physiological importance, the develoment of the twelve pairs of cranial nerves remains poorly defined in the Human embryo. This movie shows an individual segmentation of cranial nerves in pseudo colors in a GW7 embryo (see legend at the end). The abducens (VIth nerve) is not visible.
