This movie illustrates how deciphering the spatial relationship at high resolution between nerves and progenitors can provide cues to organogenesis. Here, some precursors (white nuclei) migrate in tight association with sensory axons (magenta) in a foot. This precursors will generate Schwann cells (which produce myelin around axons) and melanocytes.
